I picked up my block from the machine shop yesterday! It now has billet center caps and studs,.010/.010 crank, align bored, new cam bearings, new freeze plugs, honed cylinders, resized rods and new bearings with TRW forged pistons, new flexplate bolts, balanced, and he double checked the clearances on crank and went ahead and torqued it down in the block to make sure it spins well. All I need now is gaskets and timing chain. I was gonna let it go without the caps because the ones I bought needed 4/1000 cut and a shorter timing chain. But he let me float the cost of the caps till jan. :D Just under $800.

Now all I need is $500 for frankg to port my heads and kwikr1's 52 turbo and I'm ready to rock!

cost

Around $1,000,give or take a few. Been buying up stuff for a year or longer.

Can I ask who did the rebuild? I have one that will need a rebuild and was looking for someone close to Mississippi.

Thanks JCL.
