Actually, it's going to be something more like this

But cut into an existing cover, or cut into Talon Grip tape on top of a cover.
Tried it with the dividing line down the center of the arrow, but that was a colossal failure. Tolerances were too tight for such a small die.

Here it is.

This is Talon (gun) grip tape over a case.
My other plan to die cut an actual case probably won't work due to the small amount of material between the blocks. This grip tape is heat activated adhesive, so the thin areas should stay on for a while (hopefully).

It's a Rocketfish case for a 5S. This "smoke" color case is not the best fitting. The black case (the one I use) fits and works great. I haven't tried any other cases yet. Should work with any case with a solid back. Just the logo, especially, should work on anything.
I'm also going to try other adhesive material. Aluminum shim stock? Mylar? We'll see.
