Pinion Snubber Question

For those of you running one.....how close to the housing is it with the car at rest?

at least 1.5 inches maybe 2. Why?

After market pinion snubber to be more specific. I figured I'd fab one up as opposed to buying one..............I'm cheap My stocker was in the 1.5 to 2 inch range. I would a assume the extended after market version would almost be in contact with the housing at rest.

mine isn't. my stock one was approx 2.5 inches to 3 away from the housing. I heard some early MOPAR units were adjustable.

i believe jegs sells the mopar versions that are adjustable. i thought about buying one but didnt know if it would fit.. about 20 bucks i think.
