That's too bad. I understand, though.
A lot of racers from Barona are going to this Pinks event, and we're going to try and pit together. If you change your mind, let me know and I'll make sure you get included in the Barona Team. It should be a blast.
That goes for anyone else, too. Give me a heads up and I'll make sure to pass along any Barona Team plans.

Don, I am signed up to race as well, would be cool to pit together. Is everyone going up for test and tune Friday?

I'm not exactly sure how that's going to go yet. I'm not sure about the rest of the group, but we (Cheryl and I) plan on going there on Thursday to park the trailer for the Friday test and tune. I'll find out from the track if the pits will be open for parking on Thursday and pass that on. I have a feeling that if the plan is to pit together, then we'll have to go in together. The last Pinks All Out I was in, I showed up on the morning of the test and tune and they parked Disneyland style. As the line of people went into the pits, they were directed to park one after the other in a very organized fashion. It does make the parking more organized, but screws up the chance of people to park next to each other, unless they come into the gate together. I found out later that they were allowing parking in the pits the day before. It was very crowded with people waiting to go into the pits on the morning of the test and tune.

That would be something to look into. You'd definitely get some good exposure.

Hmmm... Considering the nutty masses of people, I may travel up there Friday afternoon, stay the night somewhere, and get there early in the AM. Will have to make a few test and tune trips here local(ish). Would love to pit with everyone else but doubt I can take that many days. I am still trying to figure out the logistics of it since I have 3 young kids. I keep trying to tell the wife to let me buy an enclosed trailer and we can make it a "camping adventure". But, Phoenix area is still probably 100 around that time of year... We shall see, I am excited. The GN needs lots of love before then though.

Uh... ...I thought I was your Master Pit Crew Chief at 2009 Pinks All Out Bakersfield....

Isn't that what you told me when you handed me that stylin' and cherished NAPA Auto Parts shirt that you bought for me?

Or maybe you said, "Here's a free T-shirt."
Who cares....sounded like "You're my Master Pit Crew Chief." to me.

We all know Lee is great with organizing colored fuel bottles, so maybe he should be the Master Pit Crew Chief.

Well...I had fun anyway...

Hmmm. I remember Lee saying you were a master something. Dang. I can't remember what he said now. We waited for you to get in the pic, but you never made it. The person that showed up to the track first got the master crew chief title.
That was a stylin T-shirt, wasn't it. LOL.

You're right. There was a mishap with the fuel types, but luckily Lee double checked with me after you guys fueled the car up and I was able to catch the problem before we started the engine. It would have only run very, very rich. No damage would have occurred. No biggy.
