Just bought a nice looking set of Hyper pistons which are heavier than the stock cast ones.. I can tell the difference just by holding one in each hand.. SO..am I going to be able to get it balanced with out adding Mallory heavy metal or something of the same?? THANKS.. mike

better send this question over to the engine tech forum of the site. I don't think you'll have any issues as long as the weight of each piston is same, but get more opinions for sure.

Well, it depends. Won't know untill it is on the machine.
I have seen some that did not require material and others did.

The rods will have to be balanced as well.
Besure to drop off the flex plate and hub to the complete rotating assembly done.
