Pistons and Rods

Looking to build a new motor and don't know what pistons and rods to use, starting with a Forge steel Crank for a stock stroke build. I have seen some vendors with kits but still can't seem to make up my mind, goals are mid tens to high nines.

As long as you get a "real" turbo Buick V-6 forged piston, you are good!

Rods should be from an established manufacturer so if something gets messed up, you have a source to go back to. We use Molner Technologies like many others here do also.

Assuming your block will need some machine work, find a shop that has at least some Buick V-6 experience since he should be responsible for his work, and let him decide.

Your other choice is to go with someone like Husak Performance who can furnish a quality, compatible rotating assembly kit.
