Putbull chips are olddddddddddddddddddd. They have timing like a race chip. With my old pitbull my fans were always on too. After I switched to a turbotweak chip they cycle normal.
A Pit Bull chip has the fan run all the time when the car is moving less than 25mph. That way the car always runs cool. Less detonation risk with a cooler car.
You can tell it's working at night because you'll notice your headlights get slightly brighter when you reach 20-30 mph and the fan shuts off. I've had a Pit Bull since back in '87 and on the chip I use today, I still have that feature. My fan still works fine after nearly 20 years so I guess it's OK on the fan. Paul
The date stampled on my chip is 1990. I may try that tweek chip. I have tried 2 chip and both would not wrk in my car. The car stalled 3 seconds after stating.
My fans are always on I use a toggle switch,I run the pitbull chip on 110 leaded I love it it does have high timing but i have a stock turbo so timing is better,my car runs faster with more tming. It 26 degrees at wot.
No amount of evidence will ever persuade an idiot.

Did you unplug the orange wire before you installed them? Make sure you give Eric you specs and you will be fine as far as the chip goes, if you have other problems ie, bad radiator, etc, it won't cure them though.
