I'm going to get a FP gauge on it again and do a blast ASAP

just ordered a fuel pressure transducer to record my fuel pressure on my power logger. i should have it set up by next week . 104 view and 2 responses lol

I can't read the logs, can someone post a screen shot or just describe what's happening?

You may want to check the rubber hose on the fuel pump I blew a hole in mine only 9 months on the car. Also the fuel filter.

My build is similar, @ 24 lbs IDC is 60%

Okay well my FP rises 1:1 up to 15lbs of boost then it falls off and goes back down to 40-42lbs of fuel pressure what could cause this voltage to the pump is a steady 13volts ?

Loose hose clamp on the rubber hose on the pump. Possible bad pump or regulator?

Those r going to be the next things I check ill drop the tank next weekend hopefully it's just a loose hose clamp

You may want to post this in the engine tech section, a lot more experienced readers there.

When I replaced the small section of rubber hose I learned that it MUST BE fuel injection submersible rated hose! All others will get soft and fail. I added a small half inch long piece of 5/16 metal line inside the rubber hose and an extra clamp to prevent ballooning of the hose. The hose is special order most likely, 15.00 a foot.

You can also get fuel injection hose clamps, they are much better than the std hose clamps. Any auto parts specifically for 5/16 size range.

Does this happen a lot it seems right at 58psi the pressure drops . I really hope that this is all it is .

I have read about others having pump and hose problems. Some even change there pump every year or 2 depending on hours as a precaution. I had the rubber hose problem with a dual pump I installed in a fuel cell for my NOS truck. I was not aware of the SAE 30R10 hose back then so I had custom Teflon hoses made. That was 2003 the puns are still working fine. From what I experienced the 100+ octane fuels will soften the lower grade hose until it balloons and ether bursts or pulls out of the hose clamp. That is why I went the extra step and added the small spacer tube in the hose with a clamp on it, to prevent ballooning. Changing the fuel filter regularly is also recommended. I may have a photo of the hose repair I did, if I find it I will post.
