I am aware of the rear seat braces to stiffen up the car but I have also heard of parts from other GM's to strengthen the frame a little more. I am guessing Monte's, Oldsmobiles, and Pontiacs of the same years (85-87) would have these parts. What exactly are the parts I am looking for. Why did they not put the parts on the GN's? They have all the torque! I want to go to the wrecker soon so any help would be appreciated. Cheers!

Grand Prix had the Front under hood braces. This is the brace that bolt to your inner fender and rad support. Cutlass Supremes and i think the Grand Prix had the under car braces that attach under the front of the car in a V pattern. I'm sure i'm missing a few. Do a search on this board and you'll find most of the information.

V-Bars etc...

85 Cutlass was my donor. They go from the engine cradle out [about 40°] to the rad support. Be sure you bring 2 18mm wrenches with you and don't forget to take the self-cutting bolts with you that you removed from the engine cradle end. Then there is the 3rd piece that runs between where these 2 mount to the rad support. Kirban's sells 'em. There are some in the wreckers, but almost all will not go due to our intercoolers. The rear seat braces are a good idea. New body bushings are a great idea. If you have T-Tops, you will be the first to attain a 'no rattle' car that I've heard of, should you accomplish this. :)
