Anyone install a plx gauge, or any other wideband gauge for that matter, in the dash next to where the interior light switch is? Have pics of this?

Part two to this question is, once a powerlogger is installed, is it possible to run this gauge in conjunction with having the scanmaster read afr also? I know it's redundant, but once the gauge is in the dash, I wouldn't want to have to remove it.

I installed my AEM WB gauge in a 3 gauge pillar. When tying it all in with the SM and PL the SM 1st screen tells me afr and kr. So, yes it's redundant, and I don't need the gauge, especially because I have a knock gauge also. The reason I haven't pulled it is because my knock gauge can sense anything, whereas the SM and PL let me know what the ECM is doing as far as actual knock retard.
I know this wasn't quite your question, but I found I couldn't explain one part without the other. Hope this helps! Happy New Year!

So you can run them in conjunction with each other. It's not a one or the other thing.?

instead of showing normal 02s, the scanmaster will show actual A/F on the default screen next to KR. That's assuming you have a powerlogger running the scanmaster.

If you mount the gauge next to the dimmer dial, won't the steering wheel block the view?

Yes they will. When I was ordering, I noticed that the AEM could come with a gauge or without one and wondered, how would you see it without the gauge? Through the SM if your also running a PL. Just another small example of how I've spent money on this car that I didn't need to;). However, since I have both, I was running my SM screen on BL to try to take care of an issue so it's all good.
