I have ordered 18038506 accumulators 3 times, only to later (weeks!) be told "unavailable". Where the heck can I get one?!

buick-parts.com has a -7 listed for $131.50. Ouch!

Been discontinued, now for some time. How do you know the accumulator is bad? If you want, I'll be in Navato next friday, I can loan you my brake gauge assembly and you can test you brake system

First, thanks for the offer of the "J" tool (I presume), but I have one... now.

My accumulator is fine now, but I need to replenish my friend who gave me his while mine was on order from gmpartsdirect.com. 6 weeks later I was told the order was cancelled. Great. Tried two other sources with the same results. Order taken, then cancelled a couple weeks later. I need to replenish this guy's stock.

Dennis Kirban bought up most of the remaining ones and sold them. He has another deal in the works with the original supplier for these accumulators and may have some in the near future. Call kirban performance for an update and availability. I bought 2 when he offered them as a closeout item.

Website is kirbanperformance.com

I could be wrong, but the last that I thought I heard from Dennis Kirban regarding accumulators was that there would probably be no more, and that GM was not going to make these anymore, nor was the original manufacturer. I think that his last one sold a few weeks ago.

Unfortunately, I think you are right, Wells. I double checked my past e-mails and Kirban has the reservoir bowls...not the accumulator bowls available. I would still contact his business and see if he has any leads on new accumulator bowls. Sorry about the mistake.:(
