I decided that I want to sell my Mease stock location 24 row stretched intercooler. This is the polished version that I will be selling with the Chrome 3 inch inlet pipe. Everything that you need to install the intercooler onto your car will be there, silicone hoses, clamps, bolts, brackets, etc. The intercooler is still on my car, and I wont be taking it off unless it is sold, cause if it doesn't sell I will just keep it. This intercooler is in great shape and looks great in the engine compartment, my car doesn't come out in the rain. If anybody is interested, I would like 700$ plus shipping.
Thanks,
Marco

Any idea if the core is the same height as the presision?
How far does it hang below the swaybar?
Does the bottom line up with the bottom of the stock intercooler scoop? I'm trying to see how it would fit with my Kenne-bell ram air intercooler scoop air dam.
Thank you.

Hi
This intercooler is a stock location, but it is huge. It is bigger than a presision in everyway, but it looks great in the engine compartment cause it fills up the engine bay very nicely and the fact that it is polished makes it look great. The scoop at the bottom is adjustable but does hang pretty low if you open it all the way. I would drive and race the car with the scoop all the way up. To be honest with you, the bottom of the mease IC will be lower than the stock intercooler scoop. I use to have a Kenne-Bell ram air intercooler scoop air dam, and I sold it when I bought this intercooler. I love that KB spoiler like crazy, it looks awesome. I never tried to install the IC with that spoiler cause my intension were to drive with the scoop opened all the time and I new it wasn't going to work. But it turned out that I drive with it up all the time cause the other way I had to always be careful when I would get in and out of parking lots with slopes. I am not saying that the spoiler and the intercooler wouldn't work together, but I don't know if the spoiler would need to be trimmed a little cause like I said, I didn't try it out. Maybe the IC scoop would hang a little lower than the air dam, so some air would get into the intercooler from the air dam and some air would get in the IC from underneath the air dam. But all in all this intercooler is great, cause its a stock location and has less piping then a front mount, there is less lag, and it is an instant performance gain. This IC could get you in the nines, I didn't do it but it is very close. Believe me I wouldn't want to get rid of this IC cause I love every thing about it. The reason I am selling it is cause I want to change my set up a bit, and the goals that I want to achieve are going to be easier with a front mount intercooler. I don't want you to think that I am trying to talk well about this IC cause I want to sell it, I really mean every thing I said.

I had been checking out other SLIC's and some say the intercooler hangs down the same as the factory scoop which I think would work with the Kenne-bell ram air intercooler scoop, but seem to have a sharp inlet 90 similar to stock,
I like the precision inlet 90 the best and now the Mease.
I will research further.
Thank you

The mease 24 row is only 1 inch taller then the precision, 18.25 to pte 17.25 and Ta performance makes a new version of the old kenne-bell spoilers..

Very interested would like to ask A few questions I will send a PM in the morning.

Hi 1986buickgx1
I just wanted to post more pictures of the IC , so you and the others could get a better idea on how low it sits, compared to the stock air dams
I don't even think this IC has 5000 miles. It is in great shape, the car is not rain driven. It might have some minor scratches, very hard to keep the polished aluminum in perfect shape. The polished IC with Chrome inlet pipe looks great in the engine compartment. The fins are in good shape. Instant gain in HP with this IC, I am running very close to the nines with it. It is rated to 700hp at the motor, which I am pretty close and that's why I want to sell it. Less lag then a front mount IC.

Here are more pictures.
And yes I did buy it brand new, with the polished option. I got the 3 inch inlet pipe chromed. I have one chrome inlet pipe with a hole for alky injection and another chrome inlet pipe without the hole, but only one inlet pipe comes with the IC sale.
Thanks,
Marco
