What do you think? Will the release of the new Fast And Furious 4 make the prices of our TRs skyrocket as some speculate?

In my opinion, they will NOT go up much in value because of the movie. Seems to me that people are reluctant to buy toys right now due to the poor economy.

Most kids that will go see this flick will be more into the import scene anyway.

this has been on my mind for some time now. i think they will go up and be easy to sell right after the movie, but like a "fad". i think it will create a strong interest at first, but after the movie has been out for awhile, that interest will die away. car value may retain a slight increase, though. i also think this movie may increase the theft of gn's.

after people hear that car sounds like an iroc in the movie and then hear and see the six in gn's they will start to talk out their asses about the movie car having a v8

it will most certainly NOT INCREASE THE VALUE OF OUR CARS!

if our car was in gone in 60 seconds, then the answer would be yes!

There MIGHT be a slight bump in prices, but I have to agree with Wile87 that the biggest increase will be in all the morons that swear these cars are supposed to have V-8's.

We will just have to keep giving the history lesson on TR's whenever a kid says "Look thats a F & F Buick car". I think it will at the least get our cars a little more attention. :)

The Question is What did it do for the YENKO Camaro, Dodge Charger or Challenger in the other movies~? ZIPPO!

So it will do nothing for these dorky ricer kids who have no money anyhow!

I think if Clint Eastwood would have called his new movie "Grand National" and drove one, our cars would have gotten more respect than a movie that is using the car as a throwaway and not even representing the car accurately. I havent seen the Eastwood movie so I don't know how much exposure the Torino got or what it's fate was, but Clint's movies seem to survive. FF4 is going to be easily forgotten just like the car that got squashed by a fuel truck. I could really care less what the teenage ricers think about my Regal, they can get a good look at the taillights and wonder what it is. Just my two cents.

Was thinking almost the same thing: surely "Gran Sport" would have worked just as well.
