hello people; Do you think there has been more pollen this year in the New England area than years past? I do. My TB is black and grey and the other day you couldn't tell what color it was. The Charles river this morning was all covered with the stuff. Never mind what's going in your lungs.

I think so. My older son has never had allergy problems until this year. Poor kid could barely see the other day.

Last time i remember it this bad here in mass. was in 1999...if memory serves that followed a mild winter also

Oh Yea absolutely terrible, I have moderate allergies and Its been horrible the past week or so, worst of all I'm allergic to any kind of pine trees and northern RI is loaded with them as well as my yard, good thing for benadryl and sudafed, I just hope it slows down soon...Mike

Same here, we some rain to wash it away. I opened the garage for 5 minutes yesterday and when I went in this morning, there was a nice layer. Another wash.

This season has been bad. I've got sneezing, runny eyes and starting to wheez. I've had allergies all my life but they are the worst in early June. This year it's about 2 weeks early. Can't wait till this crap is done. I haven't bothered to wash all the cars. I just spray them off with the hose. They look all green a few hours later.

This will be an odd weather year. Most climate reports for the USA speculate that we'll have lower than previous summer temperatures. In AL, I think we had the pollen hit sooner than previous years and it didn't last nearly as long as it has in the past. Last year, my silver truck was green for a solid month.
