Is there anyone who will port match a stock turbo compressor inlet to a ported and polished inlet bell? Is there any benifit to this or is it just a waste of time and money?

TIA

I ported the compressor inlet, bellmouthed the intercooler and thorttlebody, and portmatched the upper plenum to the throttle body. I did all this on my high mileage 87 T with no other mods and got about 2 lbs of boost. Just porting out the inlet on the turbo alone probably won't show much of a gain by itself. If your concerned about costs, go buy yourself a Dremel tool and all the necessary gaskets. Its time consuming, but well worth it. Just make sure that you have an adjustable wastegate actuator and/or adequate fuel delivery to support the extra boost.
