Porting waste gate hole.

It's a .63 A/R.
I would have to send my downpipe and turbo back to PTE to do something that I can do myself.
The previous turbo had another downpipe. This is a completely new setup.
I am running the HD gate.
The only thing I can think of is to pull the DP off and bend the puck arm until it's making complete and flush contact with the turbo housing...

It is not uncommon for someone to not be able to run less that 20psi with that gate. What was the lowest it would go?
It may take the porting you did just to get it to there. If it is leaking a little now you should make even less.

The problem was that it didn't matter where I moved the actuator rod, it would still hit about 27psi at about 3800-4000 rpms...so I called PTE and spoke with Pete about it, and his belief was that I needed to port the wastegate hole.

I did get the puck adjusted correctly!!

Got my imprint done on the turbo exhaust housing...

Just gotta break out the dremel and get to grinding...

Over-boosting problem solved. I'm set at 20psi right now for max boost. Car pulling like a friggin freight train and spool is REALLY quick.

There is another problem I need to discuss, but I'm going to open another thread for that. Thanks for the help and suggestions.
