Posi carrier parts?

I bought a posi carrier to put in my 84T while I am going through engine. I think its a Eaton? It is suppose to be the factory set up. What I want to know is where to buy the clutch pack? I figure its best to replace them before I put it in the car. Please don't tell me not to use it and buy something else as that is not in the picture. THANKS.. mike

GM still sells the oem clutch packs for them.

when in doubt, try your local GM dealer.

Can you post a pic? There were two different Eaton carriers used on these cars. The original case for the 84-85 Hot Air cars was the Gov-Loc type. The 86-87 used the HD non Gov-Loc unit. They use different plate kits.

No photo but it is the one with the "S" spring in the middle on the spider gear shaft. There is definitely no gov in there. Housing is a 410408. The clutches may be OK but I am not sure from looking at them. I would rather only do it once... THANKS...mike
