posi question

I bought a posi for my truck but it won't fit. Now I am wondering if i could use it for my car. It is a 8.5" 10 bolt posi. It has 30 spline axle's. From what I read I believe our cars come with 28spline axles. Can a person purchase 30 spline axle's, or should i just sell this posi and buy the correct one. My car currently has a open diff.

Moser sells 30 spline axles. why wont carrier fit in truck?

The Moser 30 spline axles require c-clip eliminators.

Try Randy's Ring and Pinion. Per September 2008 Car Craft Magazine, page 63, they list PN YAG1255802-30, 30 spline C clip axles. Maybe through Summit?

Ive got 30 spline mosers with c clips.

It won't fit in my truck because I have the 14 bolt 9.5" rear in it. If I can get axles I will keep it for my car. If someone could give me a web page link to the axle's that would be great. Thanks.
