SignUp Now!Nope, the white Limited had a factory frame, no wheel spacers and factory steel drums. 15x10 Weld Draglites with 4.5" back spacing. 28x12.5 ET Streets (just a 28x10.5 with grooves), dual air bags always aired at 10psi on the street in both and 27 in passengers side and 7 in drivers side at the track and front sway bar removed completely. In the glamor shot the tires were aired up to 18psi and I would let them down to 12psi cold at the track. I drove that car daily and put anywhere from 200-350 miles a week on it. I used to get that question a lot as not many people that own Turbo Buicks were used to seeing such a large rear wheel and tire combo that's driven on the street. My daily driver tires were Draglite 15x6 3.5" bs with 205/70/15s and Draglites 15x8 3.5"bs with 295/50/15 Hoosier Quick Time DOT tires. See the drag strip shot.
Of all my babies I've shown, I think the first one was the fastest.I know she could lay waste to anything that dared cross her path and she is a veteran from OIF too.
She's been through hell and going strong for being 20 years old (she's an '87 model) with I'm sure a ton of flying hours by now. I hope she makes it to the bone yard one day as I'd love to go visit her and autograph her again. :wink: I gave her the name of "Viper 1" when she was mine at Misawa AB Japan. All the pilots in my SQ loved flying her the best. 97% Fully Mission capable from '91-'93, would have been 100% but she had to donate her engine for 3 weeks one time due to spares shortages.

Man I have tried a lot of combos for wheels and tires and I dont see how that fit with no spacers 4.5" bs is way to much on my car and the 12.5 tire nope anint gonna fit wish it did they would be on mine tomorrow!
I have a 28X11.5X15 on 8.5 rim with 3.5 bs and they still rub the back of the frame on the drivers side (A little not a lot) Still cant figuer out how my car is so much dif. than so many others in the ass end tire clearence area![]()
