Here's my babies.

My baby in the AF. She was never this dirty when I cared for her.

My first Turbo Buick '86 T-Type. The original RUQWKNF. TSE class, best et & mph I drove her too, 10.07 @ 135, 1.46 60ft.

My 2nd Turbo Buick "Rare T" 87 Limited. Best et & mph 11.07 @ 120.9, 1.52 60ft.

The 2nd and current RUQWKNF. Best et & mph so far 12.44 @ 112 with a 1.68 60ft on regular radials.

The snow car, '87 Merkur XR4TI 86k original miles.

My current baby Sarah. 87 Turbo T. Dark Sapphire Blue Metallic, Blue interior, black out trim. I'm waiting for the weather and streets to get better so I can take her out for a photo shoot and test out the spoolup.

She's starting to get impatient with me.
One of these days I'll get some pics of the Sunbird.

Here's mine the day I got it (12/30/05)...Now it looks like a WE4 as it's got the T-Type rims on it (and a thick layer of dust as it's not moved from the garage since September!)

Here are a couple pics of the Turbo Limited the '87 GN shown above replaced - as I found it in a garage where it sat for 3+ years, washed and running again, then stripped down for parts. Sad...but just too much rust to keep it alive.:frown:

Nope, the white Limited had a factory frame, no wheel spacers and factory steel drums. 15x10 Weld Draglites with 4.5" back spacing. 28x12.5 ET Streets (just a 28x10.5 with grooves), dual air bags always aired at 10psi on the street in both and 27 in passengers side and 7 in drivers side at the track and front sway bar removed completely. In the glamor shot the tires were aired up to 18psi and I would let them down to 12psi cold at the track. I drove that car daily and put anywhere from 200-350 miles a week on it. I used to get that question a lot as not many people that own Turbo Buicks were used to seeing such a large rear wheel and tire combo that's driven on the street. My daily driver tires were Draglite 15x6 3.5" bs with 205/70/15s and Draglites 15x8 3.5"bs with 295/50/15 Hoosier Quick Time DOT tires. See the drag strip shot.
Of all my babies I've shown, I think the first one was the fastest. I know she could lay waste to anything that dared cross her path and she is a veteran from OIF too. She's been through hell and going strong for being 20 years old (she's an '87 model) with I'm sure a ton of flying hours by now. I hope she makes it to the bone yard one day as I'd love to go visit her and autograph her again. :wink: I gave her the name of "Viper 1" when she was mine at Misawa AB Japan. All the pilots in my SQ loved flying her the best. 97% Fully Mission capable from '91-'93, would have been 100% but she had to donate her engine for 3 weeks one time due to spares shortages.

I don't think you've read my post correctly. Even tho the MT ET Street has a size designation of 28x12.5, it is not a 12.5" tire. They put a larger width size on their ET Street tires for DOT reasons. This tire is really a 28 x 10.5" tire, mounted on the 15x10 rim, the width was only 10.1" wide when aired up to 11psi cold. You are correct, a true 12.5" slick would never fit without serious modifications.

Who are you asking? If me, sorry nope. Sarah's not for sale, neither is the Major. (name for the EVO) I sold the White Limited back in '98 and sold my grey car back in '05.

Heh, mine is so crooked I need a 7/8" spacer on the passenger side just to fit the Nittos (275/50/15) on the stock rim.

Heres a shot of my new toy, sitting next to my old toy. The GN is a 1986 hardtop, all original, 108,000km. Pretty basic options, has the electronic climate control, trunk release, no power seat, twilight, or remote mirror. Original tape deck is in the trunk. Needs a little work, but is overall solid, and passed emissions with flying colors. I finally own the coolest car on the road, back when I was in high school!
