does anyone know how to get ahold of poston? there toll free number is down and there lan number won't go through. i placed an order back in october for air-dam, headliner, f.p. regulator, and a cold air kit and only recieved half my order. i contacted them back in november for reasoning and they said the air-dams were on back order as well as the headliner. i was fine with this as long i i was garunteed to get the rest of my order. they said about a month and i would recieve the rest. so a month goes by and it is now christmas/new years time.. i contacted them and said i had still never recieved the rest of my order. i had now sold my gn and didnt need the rest of the parts so i asked for a refund. they said they could refund me through my debit card and i would get my money (about $340) in about a week. a week goes by and nothing? im pissed now. i called up and they said that there credit department was down. i said "how many excuses can u guys come up with?" now its almost march and i kind f forgot about the whole thing and just remembered that i stil have not received a re-emburstment. what should i do? i cant get ahold of them. im tempted to mention a lawyer if i can get ahold of these crooks!

I hinted to this a several months back... Made a entire thread... Got a few nasty PM's:rolleyes:

I guess sooner or later people will learn... If they are not vendors here there is probably a good reason for it:smile:

They've taken $800 from Chris Hogeland for parts they don't have in stock and said they can't give a refund because they don't have the $$. Stay away.

I guess "due diligence" didn't come to mind when the new owner supposedly found herself stuck w/vendor debt, that was not accounted for, during the "buyout"....
Don't think someone that dumb, would last long, anyway.
Definately a good place to stay away from....
Time for you folks w/ cc charges, to call the cc companies and put the screws to them.

I had ordered window seals from them sometime ago. When they didn't come I just waited figuring it was the normal long wait we are all used to from most Buick vendors. Then I got a UPS e-mail that a package was coming from Evergreen Alabama.I had no idea what it was but when it came it was my window seals.

At least in my case it seemed to work out.Hopefully the new owner deserves the chance to make things right and will work will the guys that have paid for parts they don't have.

They are only a lil over a hour from me i have drove there several times in teh past.
They dont owe me squat thank god but a road trip may be in order just to see the place and poke around and check out whats up. Maybe buy a few part while there they have in stock.

Got some stuff from them a few months ago without problems. Bummer to hear that things have gone down hill. Back in the day, they used to be one of the good guys. I've spent many thousands of dollers with them with no regrets. Their ceramic coated headers were ledgendary. Mine are still going strong after seven or eight years. A sad day:frown: .

We should be extra thankfull and supportive of the "good" venders that we still have. My guess is that once they're gone, THEY'RE GONE.

Happy spooling...

ya, neither of the numbers are working!!? the non 1800 number is asking for a code number or something? is there an email of some sort or s/n that i can pm somebody at?

...finally got through today. she told me that they have a lot of credit issues going on right now and that i would be put on the "priority list" to get my money back.. i was in a hurry and didnt get to say everything i needed to, unfortunately. for everyone else the alternative number they gave me to leave voice-mail if they dont answer (go figure) is 215-368-3591.

(215) area code is Philadelphia. Perhaps you meant (251) (Alabama) like their other number?

Poston

You might not get anywhere with your credit card company due to the amount of time. Although not an attorney- just an accountant married to auto tech in my experience I have seen where the new owner possibly purchased assets and created another company. If the new owner created another company then I would go after the old company before they dissolve it in court. If they purchased assets and liabilities then another story. It really depends what was purchased in the sale and if the company name changed (new Fed ID number).

I'd contact the AG office from the state they conduct business in and obtain as much information as you can and also inquire where their registered agent of incorporation is located and notify them that you will be suing for a return of money for theft. It will be a lot of leg work and possible filing fees..it just depends on how much you are willing to spend before you could see a dime if ever.

Sorry to hear about your situation.

Kelli Cox.
