What are you feelings on using the shiny clear on engine parts. Most are not shiney. Anybody using satin?
 
Got these done couple weeks ago. Also fuel rails

Steve whats the question? The real bonus with the clear is it makes it easy to clean...lol
They offer clear in shades even duller (is that a word) then satin. Less sheen.

That's my question, I am just had a bunch of stuff done for a car I am doing. It came back bueatiful but the valve covers etc are all glossy...no way they looked like that when they rolled off the assy line.

I did a bunch of parts with a friend at his house last year and we did not clear anything, just a blasted aluminum powder. I am not set up to do it at home and they guy I uses is cheap/fast/does good work...lol.
