Has anyone done there V4? Does anyone know if the bars are glued or welded in place? I don't want to ruin my core due to the temps in the PC oven. I'm not worried about efficiency being affected due to lack of heat transfer.. TIA

I thought those CAS V4 were already powdercoated. I just bought a used one and it looks like it is powder coated.

Mine was powdercoated originally. It began chipping, so I refinished it. I did not re-powdercoat it however.

The tubes are glued.
I had my powdercoated but the guy cover the tubes so they would not be P-C.

So, the glue didn't melt upon curing..My biggest concern is the 400+ degree oven ruining my cooler..

I did have a leak in the IC but I do not think it was from the powdercoating as it was only in a small spot.
