powder coating intake....

.... i really want to powder coat or ceramic coat my intake.... is the best thing to do, to get it polished first or bead blasted.....????? i want the finish to be really smooth with no casting flash.... what are my options and any tips or suggestions.... TIA

An intake doesn't get hot enough to need ceramic.

As for what to do. This was bead blasted and done in satin clear. The ribs on the plenum were polished

How slick do you want it???????? There are a lot of sh*tty casting marks
that show up when it is coated. Spend a little time on it and they clean up pretty good.
