Is there a trick to using one of those power wheels for waxing cars? I have heard you can burn the paint..etc...

I just get tired of wiping the wax on and off for the 4 cars I have.

There is a portable one on sale in the local auto store for 45 bucks. Comes with 3 different soft material wheels.

Should it wiggle around (randome orbit?) or just spin in a perfect circle. For that matter can I just buy one of the fuzzy wheels and put it on my variable speed drill?f

Does it work with any/all polishes or just carnuba wax?

An orbital buffer is what ya want to install and remove wax.One damp one to put it all on and four or six to take the wax off.Don't think you can burn paint with an orbital type you can burn paint with a high speed type and an abrasive cleaner wax or compound.Stay away from the drill kind spend ya money on a decent orbital buffer and keep it flat. hf
