I traced the orange/black wire up to behind brake mechanism. Wire diagram shows a junction box where is it ? Keep in mind car iam looking in caught on fire. I removed power seat from car to another with manual seat. As my luck would have it the wire is not there. Also is there a slot behind curcuit breaker in fuse box for the wire ?

Why don't you just get the 12V from the fuse panel. Hook a spade connector to adequately heavy wire and run it to the seat switches.

The orange power wire goes up above the fuse box where there is a large white electrical power block (not sure how it's called) into which the power seat's orange wire plugs.
The wire is not factory installed on cars that don't have the power seat, you have to install it.
Last, the power wire does NOT go into the fuse box!...but rather, like I said above, it goes into a power block located higher above the fuse block.

Claude.

Sorry to hijack your post but do either of you know if there is a spacer between the seat bracket that attaches the seat bottom to the seat back? I took apart my seat to reupholster and I went to put it back together and it seems way too tight.
