There are 4 formats to choose from there....

They just came out with that one to support Rebuild Northwest Florida. I almost think it's required viewing for anyone who considers staying during a hurricane or moving to the coast. There is a part that shows the water about 2.5 feet up someone's door and it's still dry in the house. That's what it was like in my neighborhood until the water got so high it broke out doors and windows or just seeped in... Thought I'd share.. Things are doing much better now, but there are lots of people who still need help.

Next hurricane season is just around the corner too!

I saw that last week when I was on the site, pretty crazy that many people stayed.
My aunt & uncle are still living in an apartment while there house is being fixed. Or lack there of, they are waiting on the insurance company to cut a check for the remainder of the repairs.

I am comming down June 30 - July 8th any thing happening down there in that time frame besides the blue angels show? ......Ed

There is usually always something happening, but I normally avoid the Beach during the Blues show. Way too packed! Their is a Sat night cruise in every Sat. PM me when the time gets close and I'll let you know more. I'm always needing someone to help with my 87. :D

Will do, never been to the air show there but I can only imagine how packed it will be. Especially with the beach area still upside down from Ivan.

I'll pm you as June gets closer, I would like to get to that cruise if it works out. Where is it held?

Love to help with the GN but you will have to get permission from my girlfriend on that one. She says I don't know how to just relax & do nothing. She wants me to just veg out for a week, but I'll try to help if I can ;)

Yeah, get with me. The cruise in is on 9-mile road, then folks usually head out to their own spots and sometimes do some street racing.

The Blues will do practices the days heading up to the show and you can see their routines before the show itself the days leading up to it. There is nothing like watching a spray of water follow the jet because it's that low then it pulls a 90 degree turn right over your head and it's so close you can see the design on the helmets!

I am also down here in pcola, so feel free to PM me as well, I plan on being at the blues show out in the water on my boat (first time having a boat to watch it) I see the blues every week during thier practice here on base, and I still feel like a little kid every time i see em, and I'm a PILOT!
