PowerLogger Freezes at 4200rpm

I installed my powerlogger a week ago and whenever I go full throttle the software freezes right at 4200 rpm. I try to reconnect and it says open com error. This happens whether I'm recording or not. Has this happened to anyone else?

thats not typical. are you running the laptop on battery or with a charging cord?

make sure the USB cable is properly plugged in at each end.

is it 4200 RPM at wot only, or does it do it at part throttle also?

It's a laptop running off battery. I've tried it on 2 different laptops and it does the same thing. It does it during wot only and exactly when I hit 4200 rpm.

thats pretty odd, the com port error happens when the USB port drops out. perhaps try updating the PL software.

It's updated to version 1.4 and all the newest drivers. I'll double check the usb cable. Could it be the PL isn't getting a good connection to the ecm?
