Is the MAF flow # calculated or a reading from a sensor. When comparing my files with others mine shows only about 425 and others that appear to be running about the same show 768 (side by side frame advance mph comparison). And also the first two rows of BLM's read 128 and the 3rd & 4th row read 0-08 I run the MaftPro SD system with extender extreme.

What MAF display option do you have chosen on the Powerlogger's F3 screen? Should be set for 768 Extender Pro.
I hope you mean that you have the Extender Pro chip since you're running the Translator Pro.

How heavilly modified is your motor? The 400+ reading you're seeing is not unrealistic for a mildly modified engine.

The only reason I can think of the others showing 768 is that they have their MAF display setup wrong in PL. I don't know of too many engines short of a heavilly modified Stage II motor that could actually flow the full 768 gps capabilities of the Extender Pro chip.

Here's a typical file from mine.

Yes, my mistake on the chip it is the pro and setup is 768 for the three bar. The combo is mild, JE pistons, small cam, self ported intake/heads with large valves, GTQ 70, 60# inj and no alky yet. I would not want to post someone's log file but I found a few on the FT help site that appeared to have their settings correct with 768 @ 29 psi. Do you know where the MAF reading is taken from in SD ? Thank you in advance for your reply. Oh and BTW your car looks strong, what has it run?

The MAF reading in SD is being generated by the Translator Pro based on the speed density algorythm, and I've found it to be VERY accurate when comparing readings on mine when I run a MAF and switch to SD, and back and forth. I wouldn't rely on somebody else's data file unless you know that their setup is the same as yours, and the boost is the same and all other conditions are the same.
When mine was racing (now retired from racing) it ran 11.6's @ 117+. Very mild build with a TE44, MSD 50's, and a CAS V2 FMIC. Rest of motor is bone stock, every piece/part.

Wow, that is a great running car. Would the TE 44 be about a 60mm ? Thank you for Helping me better understand the MAF #s I was puzzled by the other big #s, I would guess mine is in the normal range. Now that I think about it, I bet the throttlebody selection in the MAFT set up (in SD only) would have an affect on the calibration of the MAF #s as well ??

My throttle body size is set to 6 and works perfectly. The TE 44 is a 58mm turbo.

I did change mine for best throttle response but can't remember where it ended up working the best, I gotta check it again.
