I am going to be running a Zeitronix Wideband kit,I'll be monitoring/recording Wideband 02's,EGT,boost and fuel pressure.Would I still need a PowerLogger?I would be hooking up my Scanmaster to it,but I don't want an over kill if it isn't needed.
Thanks ikle

Sooner or later you'll want to monitor/playback more than that and the powerlogger becomes pretty handy. That's just my assumption.

If you had to choose between the Zeitronix Wideband and the PowerLogger which one would you get first
thanks,ikle

monitoring/recording Wideband 02's,EGT,boost and fuel pressure.

To do this you will need both. or 10 gauges that you can not look at the same time or record.

Get the wide band with the scanmaster, for constant tune then get the powerlogger to record and monitor all of the above.

i agree with all the above posts. you can have all the gauges in the world in the cab but you can not monitor them all down the track. get the powerlogger so you can review your data after every pass and see what you need to change in the tune or setup

Thanks for the replies, but if I understand this correctly the PowerLogger will monitor and record the engines vitals through the stock ECM,if you want to monitor more vitals(wideband o2's,EGT,boost,ect.)you have to add seperate kits to the PowerLogger to do so(1 for EGT, 1 for wideband, 1 for boost, ect.)The Zeitronix wideband system monitors and records 3-7 vitals at a time through it's own software, if I am correct(I am new to this lol.).If I wire the Zeitronix system to the PowerLogger's wideband input port would the PowerLogger's software monitor and record all the info from the Zeitronix system(o2's,EGT,boost, fuel pressure, ect.) plus all the info from the ECM. Plus I dont intend to have a lap top mounted in my car, only using for tuning, the rest of the time I will be monitoring through the Scanmaster. Now will the Scanmaster monitor all the info from the Zeitronix system through the PowerLogger, or will I have to buy the optional LCD display to monitor them,(the LCD display shows peak and hold maximum values, just like the Scanmaster does.)Sorry for the confusion, just trying to learn.
thanks ikle

You have to input the signals (EGT, Boost, etc) into the ztronics the same way you would with a powerlogger. At the end of the day you would only be able to see a couple extra peices of data where with the powerlogger, you have a slew of information.
