Powermaster/Hydroboosts brake rod removal

Has anyone removed the brake rod from a Powermaster or Hydroboosts brake system. If yes, how?

Is this the rod end to the booster... if yes, how do you get the snap ring off?

Yep rod end to the booster. I dont have a clue what that tool is used for. Maybe a newer truck. Maybe a 2 ton truck?

I have an extra HB I've been playing around with... Where is the snap ring? For the life of me... I still can't figure out how take that brake rod out

I am converting P/M to the Hydra-boost. Do need that Gold Mounting Plate or Can use the one of the P/M I am coverting a 1987 to 1984 Hydra-boost.

Any help would Grate as I have been purchasing Reman Parts from the Parts
Store I don't have Doner Car for Parts

Hi Jeff

I can sell you the 14karat gold mounting plate if you want:biggrin:

If you get yourself a GN 84/85 hydraboost system, it should come with it's own mounting braket and should bolt right in. No mod needed for the firewall... I can't be 100% positive about the brake pedal but it should work with the 86/87 TR cars.
