powerplate and alky

would there be any drawbacks of having alky and powerplate? would it run better without it since it is a restriction and the alky will kill knock anyway

The power plate and alky are a great combo. One is insurance for the other. I had no knock @ 18 psi before alky with the plate and now no knock @ 26 with both. If I turn the wick down and kill the alky I can get away with 21-22 psi (neglegible knock counts).

it can be depending on what power level you are at.:biggrin:

I run both and have hit 29 PSI with no knock running pure meth and non-oxy 92 octane fuel.

i ran the powerplate and alky.. 25 psi no knock
now running Hemco and alky still no knock 28 psi
