ANYBODY GOT AN OPINION ON WEATHER I SHOULD HAVE POWERTRAX INSTALLED OR JUST SAVE THE MONEY AND HAVE CLUTCHES CHANGED?

ummmmmmm-

the power trax is made for non posi cars, all you do is bolt it in place-
if you are planning on replacing clutches, then im guessing you already have a posi rear-

my buddy joe and i did this to his non posi gn , about 3-4 years ago, and the power trax started out making the normal ratcheting noise when you turned a corner,... then after about 5k the car didnt make the noise anymore--
the power trax works great- and well worth the $$ to do-

A lot of the 4X4 Jeep guys really like the powertrax unit. They say it is one of the better posi's for the cash.

The power trax is available for just about any rear end, they just push the "non-posi" conversion alot because it can convert it.

I used one in my pro street mustang (550 HP) and it worked great. Zero complaints. Just be aware that the noise it makes when turning is normal. (freaked me out at first!)
