Powestroke Intercooler Specs?

Hi all, I am new to the board, and I don't even own a turbo Buick. I do however have a 98 GTP. But the real reason I am here is that I am trying to get some flow numbers on the PowerStroke Intercooler. I am building a 68 Dart with a 426 Wedge Motor, Ported Eddy heads, Forged crank, Eagle Rods, and Ross Pistons. I am also Procharging the package. I am planning a base HP of 500 hp and blown 700-800. The key is to have this thing live on Sunoco 94, and be very streetable. I am planning to run 10 PSI on the procharger, and I just got a brand new PS IC, with the aluminum tanks. I am curious as to anyone that has any info on the IC. I don't want to choke the system with it, but would love to try it if someone can give me a reason to. I am really looking for flow specs, and horsepower supported. Thanks, hopefully you don't completely ignore this because it is not a Turbo Buick, which I must say are wicked awesome!

your base number is probably a little low! that motor is a stump puller!!! What kind of compression ratio do you plan on?

I don't know much about the Powerstroke Intercooler yet since I just purchased my car but I did a decent amount of research on Prochargers. I would say at that low of compression you should be able to push 14 lbs. of boost on pump gas very easily. I had a Mustang with 10.3 - 1 and I was planning on running around 10 lbs. with aluminum Holley heads. I have seen people running 17 lbs. with 9 - 1. That Dart is going to be a monster. Thanks Ken, I don't think that intercooling is really necessary, if I keep my CR down a bit, and aluminum heads help reduce detonation, you can usually run another point of compression over irons. Plus 10 PSI is not all that much to begin with. I just figured if I could make it more streetable by adding the intercooler, and reducing the duration of the cam a bit, for 200 bucks why not? Thanks for the help, I hope someone else gives some info also!!

I doubt anyone has flow numbers. Real world, I think Red's Hotair has gone ~130mph through the traps on a stockblock motor with it. Who knows what it's capable of, I've never seen one on a car with a built bottom end and there's only a handfull of us using it. I only have good things to say, it lets air through it to your radiator, cooling probems are almost nonexistant

Banning, I had found your site searching the web. Thanks though, it is a great resource. I guess I will just have to try the intercooler, and then run the car without it.
