is it a good idea to put some oil in my turbo's center section when swapping it so the car doesnt start to spin the turbo w/no oil in it? i plan on changing the oil when swapping the turbo
 
Ya STP, they make lot's of stuff but I am talking about the Bering grease they make. It comes in a little can and is red, most auto part's stores will have it.
 
oh ok. i knew the brand name just not which product you were referring to. ill probably end up just lubing it up w/oil and cranking the engine over a few times before starting to build oil pressure.

Cranking the motor over a few times with the orange wire unplugged will provide all the lube the turbo needs.
 
^^^^I was thinking the same thing, I mean, if you think about it the turbo get's lubed before it even get's hot.
