Precision Turbo Question

Does anyone know how long (years) has the compressor that is being used in the 70GTQ or 70HPQ been around?

How long has Precision been installing it in their turbos?

How about the billet 71 compressor wheel?

Who is the manufacture of the compressor wheel in each of these turbos?

We have used several wheels over the years for the 70. Upgrading whenever a new wheel was released. Currently, we use the same aero that Garrett uses on their old GT4294R. Even though its many years old, for a cast wheel its done a reasonably good job. The new 71 billet we just released should provide nearly 100 hp over the cast 70 wheel with better spool up as well.

When did you release the 71 billet wheel turbo? I understood that turbo compressor wheel being around for appox 8 yrs or so. Is this correct?

Are you guys planning on releasing a newer version of the 71 billet wheel or just the 70 billet wheel?
