Mr buick,
if you havent adjusted yer IAC screw since before you put the intercooler on, i would say that is should be fine
but if your car is surging pretty bad, i would be looking more towards vacuum leaks, in the car
you can replace every single sensor and adjust every part on that car if you want, but if you got vacuum leaks in it, its still gunna surge and rev up and down and drive ya nutty
i would be looking more for vacuum leaks, ESPECIALLY since you just added an intercooler, and added ALOT of piping and plumbing..
Id check for leaks with TB cleaner or wd-40, or whatever you prefer.
when i took my turbo off of my car and upgraded, it revved up and down, and surged like crazy
i''d spray behind the turbo when the piping goes into the intake, even check the intercool piping and the rubber hoses for the wastegate actuator etc
then i did some vacuum leak tests, I was shocked how many stupid hoses and pipes leaked, or i had forgotten to put back on !
just for the hell of it, borrow a vacuum gage and see what it says
hopefully my ramblin' leads ya in the right direction
