Wow! $1.37!? Cheap stuff is still $1.78 here. If gas wouldn't go bad, I'd be in for buying 10k gallons too, LOL. Maybe hold on to it until it goes back up to $3 a gallon, then sell it for $2 and double the investment;)

Only been driving since '92, but the cheapest I've ever paid was in '98, it was .79 a gallon, cost me less than $8 to fill my Fiero GT:D

Cheapest I found in NYC was`$2.19

Out on Eastern L.I., 1 station had it for $1.99, but most others were $2.07 and up!

Looks like now is the time to stock up on some 118 rocket fuel.

Well here in San Antonio , I just filled up regular for $1.69 a gallon in the family beater. Time to stock up !!!!

Filled up again tonight on base. Paid $1.64.

I'm sure it won't be much longer before it's back on the rise.

I filled my Silverado up for under $34 last night at $1.75 a gallon. And it took 19.5 gallons too! Premium was $2.19 and I could fill the GN for 25 bucks at that price!

Hopefully it'll stay down for a while.

Just put gas in my daily driver.

$1.87 for regular
$1.97 for midgrade
$2.15 for premium?

I have noticed the gas stations around me are all charging more for premium. They brag that its 100% gas no ethanol added.

I can remember not too long ago that fuel prices were all within 10 cents of each other.

$ 2.10 (87 octane), $ 2.20 (89 octane), & $ 2.30 (91 octane) as of this A.M. at Arco, least expensive station that I know of in my area, let's hear it for the people's Republik of Kalif. And these prices are pretty typical of SoCal Arco stations. Brand names such as Chevron are typically about $ .10 - $ .15 more.
However, Groceries & dry goods are going up much more rapidly than gas is coming down, even at Wally World. Diesel doesn't seem to be coming down at the same rate of gas, which could mean that the transportation industry will keep the surcharge going till hell freezes over. Not a good thought.
