Hey guys, priming question. I have to reprime my engine. "It's inside of car" it's been awhile sense it was running. Let it spin about a 45 seconds, no pressure. So if I reprime i using priming tool, does the distributor has to go back in the same way it came out? " so in other words it need 's to set back according to where it was ?

Cam sensor needs to be set correctly. Or a distributor for that mater as well.

If you want to try a trick. Unplug the fuel pump so it won't start. Remove the oil filter. Have a helper turn the engine with the key. Do it in a couple of 1 Mississippi bursts. When you see oil flow you're done. Put the filter back on and start the car. Don't forget a big pan to catch spillage.
