When you slide a Billet (kirban) thermostat housing back into the intake, does the ledge front of O'ring stick out slightly enough not to let the horsecollar clamp sit flush to the intake??

I've taken it in and out a few times and ends up in the same spot.

Is it not in rite??

Thanks.

Doesn't sound like it is in there far enough. I put a touch of vaseline on the o-ring, and pushed it about as far as what yours sound like now. Then i put a 2x6 in btween the thermostat and a hammer:). Couple of gentle blows and it was seated properly.

Good luck,

Geoff

It doesnt look rite!!!
When I get a chance, I am going to remove it again, remove the O'ring and install it to see how far it goes.
Should it sit flush, I will them give it a shot with a piece of wood and hammer Pictures!
