problem with Gauges help

Hello all i am new to the site and have just baught my first GN and wanted to ask what can i do for my factory gauges. My RPM gauge is showing that my car is idleing at 6000 rpms (which of course is insane) what can i do please be VERY specific. Help would be greatly appreciated
