I bought new 3 bar map sensor from caspers.
I have new alcohol injection kit installed. Every wiring seems to be right...

I have connected map green map signal wire to alky.
Alky pump starts when i turn ignition on!!!
Pump stops when engine starts...
What is wrong? do i have cut original signal wire to boost gauge?

Thanks!

map problem

I think i solved problem...
Caspers 3 bar map is for tta, so + and - terminals are in different locations....

the TTA MAP and the GN MAP sensors have the same pinout.

time to start measuring voltages.

You do not have to unhook the original wiring.

Who's kit?

Find somebody that has a good map and swap it out. I bought a used but new kit on here that had a 3 bar map that they had purchased from napa (part number shows to be a 3 bar but its wrong) that did the same thing. There is something about TTA or other 3 bars have the pins reversed but I don't remember the exact details.

kit

There is two different kits sale in Finland Snowperformance or devils own.
I tooked Devils own stage 2 with nozzle 7.
Did i choosed wrong?

I have to start measuring wires..

I ship kits all over the world. Farthest has been New Zealand. I dont have distributors in any overseas country due to the specialty nature of these particular cars.

You buy a Generic type kit you have to figure out where everything goes and along with that how to setup the system. You buy a system specifically made for your vehicle, it eliminates the guess work. I'm not saying how to do things, just helping you with your decision making for future purchases to your vehicle. When you buy items specific for your application... you save time and money in the long run.

I thought buying the MAP from Caspers was odd thats why I asked who's kit. And my suspicion was correct. And no you cannot buy a 3 bar with the flipped pins unless it was the year 1989 and you went to a GM dealer. All current 3 bar MAP's have the same orientation as the 2 bar MAP's as to wiring.

I think you should contact Devil's Own for tech on their product. Or the distributor who sold you the product for help with wiring and setup issues. Its not proper to step on their toes. Let alone they made money when they sold the system, let them handle their tech issues.

Good Luck

That is the incorrect size nozzle for a Buick application. I'll leave it at that.

Devils kit...

Thanks Razor!
Like i have noticed, this is best place to find help with my cars.
I´ll be wiser next time. first Reason buying kit from Finland was price and second that i get my kit fast.

If the kits price is there 620$
Its easily here 950$ with taxes and shipping, if someone doesent write smaller amount reciepe:)!!!
Devils set was only 390$ here in finland, i think i saved in wrong place.
I have noticed you have better pipings and wirings in your set.

No problem.

Get rid of the chrome tube on the fuel pressure regulator and replace with rubber hose. If that pop's off.. your going to be doing head gaskets.

Is your car a digital dash car?

Thats one reason we added a +5V output to the ISAC. Makes it easier to power the MAP sensors when your car didnt come with one.

Could not have been said Better!

Too many company's now a days out to just sell a product to make a buck and don't take the time for there customers. I see this A LOT more these days and it's pretty disheartining to see people buy a product and then see that they need help with it.

I can't stress this enough! "Go with a company who supports there customers and has great tech service!!" Not just what every Tom, Dick and Harry are using because They say it's good.

Hope you get things worked out with Devilsown.

Good luck.
