Working on an 87 GN that had a miss, have got that portion of it figured out, but it won't run worth a darn with the alky chip, and alky being used. If you turn the alky off, and use the old 17psi street chip, it runs great. When using the alky the power surges in and out, boost surges up and down. No knock, o2's in the lower 800's. Any suggestions??

What type of MAF is on the car.. be very specific..

When you run it without alky.. at 15 PSI.. what are O2's at?

What are idle BLM's at?

I'll start with these.
 
Your alky kit, Eric's alky chip. Car has the usual exhaust,fuel,cold air intake mods. Has had the valve springs redone, otherwise bone stock 45,000 mile motor, stock throttle body, headers, etc... Car has the stock mass-air on it, along with trying another known good one. BLM's in the 770's at 17 psi without alky, and no knock via a scanmaster. BLM at idle is 125. THANKS!
 
Put the alky chip in, leave the boost at 15 PSI.. your car should run perfect.

If not.. we need to see why the chip wont work.

See your saying when you do two things(alky kit+alky chip) it doesnt work rite.. so lets get the chip working first then work on getting the alky kit working next.

Next I presume your running 100% straight methanol in your tank. And your O2's should be higher than 770's at 17 PSI with your street chip. But lets not lose focus on the street chip your using.

Couple things to look at.. switch the alky on with your street chip.. and turn the fuel pressure down 1-2 lbs. Should run the same.. but slightly richer. All alky chips=street chip fueling. Meaning the injectors are typically programmed for same opening.. only difference is timing is higher on alky chips at WOT.

Put your scanmaster on AF and see if it hits 255 when you floor it.
