problems with gn

yesterday went out for a ride car was running fine all of a sudden my service engine light came on the car started sputtering like it had bad gas so I sputtered home the car then started idling real high so I turned it off, this morning I went out to start my gn up it fire up but still running bad so went on to work when got in this evening I tried to start it up and it turn over but wouldnt start it smelt like it was trying to flood out any thing would be helpful but first how often does the coil pack mogule plays out on these cars.

Sounds like a MAF, at least initially. Pull the code with the good old paper clip trick. ---> Malfunction Codes Reference

If the check engine light came on some codes would narrow it down.

ecm

would a defective ecm cause this problem Im referring to because the codes I got all lead back to defective ecm.

Take the chip out and put it back in, make sure none of the pins are loose!

yes I pulled the code 21 and now its 51 prom error
