production 4.1 (291) block and more

I have a spare 4.1 casting 291 block, turbo rods, and brand new H471cp 30 over pistons for sale. Block looks good, no visible cracks or flaws, and is standard bore, but would need to be bored .30 over for the pistons. Asking 675.00 picked up. Located in Byron, IL.

Was the block magged yet? Sometimes there's cracks where the viseable eye can't see- bought and similar block for $250. Only to find out a year later when I had funds to build it there were cracks in the bearing journals. It would probably sell alot faster once it's been magged. Still interested.

I'd be more than happy to take it to get checked out if someone wants to pay for that service before they purchase the block. I have another 4.1 in machine shop prison now and I'm trying to raise funds for that and not increase the cost:biggrin: The one I have for sale I tore down for the rotating assembly. No ridge in cylinders, bearings looked great, and I only had to have the crank polished. If anyone wants an Idea on cost of shipping, I got a quote to SC for $208.00 terminal to terminal.
