Production of 3.8 and 4.1

I need a list of all the car models that offered the 3.8 and 4.1s that have blocks and cranks that could be used in an 86 GN?
Looking to make a good street/strip motor by spring mid-low 12 seconds. I have found a few buicks with 3.8 (very cheap) but I really need to be sure of the blocks without driving 100 miles to check the block ##s

RE 4.1 sources

Per my Chiltons here is what I see...

Buick Electra, Estate Wagon, LeSabre, Regals 82 to 84

VIN code for the 4.1 is "4"

Cadillac 82
VIN code is "4"

Some rear wheel drive Olds and Pontiacs had them too same years and VIN

All the 4.1's have the same crank as the turbo 3.8
