Where can I get an adapter harness that plugs into the ECM PROM socket so that I don't have to pull out the ECM every time I want to change my chip? TIA
You could probably use a blank thumbwheel. If you can't program all your chips onto it, you can probably put the standard chips in the socket. Our chips are 24 pin, thumbwheels are 28, so
leave the extra socket area at the notched end of the chip/socket. You might want to remove the socket and put in a ZIFF.
tminer,
thanks for the reply. So when I go to the caspers site,I should be looking for a blank thumbwheel. I was hoping to find just a plug in harness.
Contact John Spina at Caspers. He might still offer a multi chip holder but I am pretty sure that they didn't work that reliably so he might have discontinued them. Best to ask him.
