Propane for a fuel only?

Has anyone done this. I am talking full no gas only propane. Its a crazy idea just wondering if there are any crazys out there. There is a volvo guy running 10# on his volvo turbo. I know its big jump from 4 banger to buick but I am sure someone has tried it right?
