Can someone please provide the proper placement of the 3.8SFI Turbo and Buick emblem on an 87b Turbo T trunk? If you have an origional car and know the badges have not been removed can you post a picture and measure their placement.
Thanks

Here is a pic of my beater buick.

That is a pretty nice beater. Could you measure how far in the Buick is from the edge of the trunk lid.

Ken, here are the measurements taken from "Kirban's to 1986 and 1987 Buick Turbo Regals":

On the passenger side the "BUICK" stick-on emblem sits about 1-1/2" from the top edge of the trunk lid moulding. The letter "K" in BUICK ends up exactly 3-1/4" in from the outer edge of the trunk lid.
On the driver side, the "3.8 SFI TURBO" emblem sits at the same height as the "BUICK" emblem (1-1/2" from the top edge of the trunk lip moulding). However, it comes only in about 1/2" from the left edge of the trunk lid unlike the "BUICK" emblem which has the wider 3-1/4" space between the end of the emblem and the far edge of the trunk lid. THIS IS CORRECT.

hope this helps!

I measured them on my original low milage car. The emblems are 1/2" up from the ridge. The BUICK is 3" over from the edge of the trunk to the K in buick. The 3.8SFITURBO is 1/2" from the trunk edge to the 3. The one posted has been painted, but I don't know how accurate the measurements are. No idea if they were that anal in putting the emblems on.

Didn't the T's come with a "REGAL" emblem beside the Buick on the trunk lid as well?
