Boomerang 2 is supplied with a transponder key fob, which is attached to each driver’s key. The unit in the vehicle constantly monitors the position of the vehicle and requires that the signal from the key be present before the vehicle moves. In a situation where the vehicle moves, either under it’s own power, or via an external means ( tow truck ), without the transponder signal present, an alert signal is sent to the tracking office. Once this alert is received tracking is initiated.
