PSC Reservoir and Hydroboost Question

I'm running the PSC reservoir with my hydroboost conversion. Brakes work great.

Developed a crazy loud whine today, worse under turning load and high RPM.
It turned out to be the 5/8" gravity feed line from the PSC reservoir to the power steering pump.
The hose is kinked badly. Although gravity fed, I think the fluid gets sucked down that feed line hard under heavy load, sucking the line closed.

For you guys with this setup or others who've experienced this, how did you guys manage to not kink your line? Did you leave it a little longer so the curve could be bigger and not kink? I'm worried about it interfering with the steering shaft if I make it longer.

Any suggestions?

For all the time I spent getting this hydroboost and PSC setup correct, I feel a little dumb for not thinking of that. This was all a first for me. Learned a lot. I'll look into that.
I assume braided line can accept a push lock fitting like the 10AN-to-push-in Fragola I have on the end now that comes from the reservoir? Meaning, the braided line will still accept most end fittings like regular rubber hose does?
